Welcome to Studio Time - Freestyle 

Your Creative Space, On Your Schedule

 

Looking for a place to dive into your own creative projects—without the distractions of home or the structure of a formal class? Studio Freestyle is a relaxed, open-access workshop session where adults can hire studio time, use tools and materials, and create at their own pace.

 

Whether you’re an experienced maker or just starting out, Studio Freestyle is beginner-friendly and all about giving you the freedom to explore. From sketching, and painting to model-making or small-scale builds—bring your ideas and we’ll provide the space.

Each session is £20, with paints, glues, tapes, panel pins, and other general workshop supplies included in the price. If you don’t have your own materials, you can also purchase what you need from the small studio shop. A facilitator will be present at every session.

Crafting with a friend?

It's great to be able to do making and designing with friends, so we off a bring a friend discount - £30 for 2 people, look for the "Studio Time - Freestyle - For 2 People" option on the Ticket Lab events.

New to the studio?

Everyone must attend a short Studio Intro Session on their first visit to get familiar with the space, equipment, and safety guidelines. After that, you’re free to book sessions and get straight to work.

The studio has a range of equipment which can be used during your studio time, such as:

• Hand tools for woodworking,

• Lanisher (sanding disk & belt), 

• Bench drill press

• Scroll saw, 

• Spray paint booth

• Cricut Maker 3, 

• Anycubic 3D printer,

• XTool laser cutter, 

• Pyrography (wood burning) kits,

• Plus more.

 

Need access to the laser cutter, 3D printer or Cricut?

These specialist tools are available by request and must be booked when you sign up for your session to ensure availability and support.

 

Spaces are limited to keep things comfortable and ensure access to equipment—so booking in advance is essential.
